What is HeartTouch?
HeartTouch Embodied Mindfulness is a practical approach for cultivating embodied mindfulness through embodiment, presence and compassionate human connection.
Embodied mindfulness is a way of being in which we feel deeply rooted in our bodies, fully present to our experience, and warmly connected with ourselves and those around us. As body and mind become more deeply integrated, wellbeing, resilience and authentic human connection naturally emerge.
HeartTouch begins with our shared human experience. We all experience moments of pleasure, pain and neutrality, and our relationship with these experiences profoundly shapes our wellbeing. Through simple embodied practices, people gradually reconnect with themselves, with others and with the body's natural capacity for self-regulation.
HeartTouch has developed through Anthony Fidler's many years of practice, teaching and lived experience. The approach is rooted in his long study of Sei Ki, a Japanese Ki therapy and hara training developed by Akinobu Kishi, and has continued to evolve through many years of working with people, alongside his practice of Zen, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and his own lived experience of chronic stress, burnout and overwhelming inner experiences.
Today, HeartTouch provides the foundation for a wide range of workshops, courses and specialist programmes. The same underlying approach can be shared in many different settings, supporting individuals, communities and organisations while responding to their particular needs and circumstances.
